College and Academic Subjects - How to Avoid Proposal Essays on Environmental TopicsIf you are submitting a paper to get your bachelor's degree or another academic qualification, you should not write a proposal essay on environmental topics unless you know what you are doing. As an associate of the engineering school in which you want to apply, I strongly advise against going into this area. Not only are there many areas of study where it is highly inappropriate to write about subjects that are not directly related to your career goals, but it is also very dangerous.I firmly believe that a proposal essay on environmental topics is wrong for college students and they should be avoided. However, I have heard several other people tell me that this is an area that their students like to do, so they include it. In fact, some schools include a wide range of topics on which to discuss, and for which to write.First, most students will make an incorrect thesis statement and will be unable to solve a problem because they have no knowledge base at all. That's why they go to school, right? Students need a foundation in order to learn, and by thinking they can tackle anything without the proper knowledge, they are making the mistake of living in their own world. It is very dangerous.This is why I tell my students, 'Don't waste your time and effort with planning sessions, preparation projects, and other useless things that no one will ever use' because this will not only make you a failure as a student, but it will also make you very dangerous. Do not waste your precious time and energy with organizing parties, games, lectures, or anything that involves other people. There is no reason to do it.If you're going to organize a basic orientation, a fundamental project, or some other type of project, I strongly encourage you to do so outside of school. You might even consider using this time to finish the first draft of your proposal essay. Save your special little candle lit din ner in the garden, your afternoon nap, and your incredible trip to the beach as filler. I would suggest doing something else besides writing your term paper.I have received several requests from students who are very interested in getting a hard copy of their proposal essay, just in case they cannot submit it on time. These students are asking for specific copies, because they want them to use on campus and/or submit the essay to the Dean of Admissions. While this may seem to make sense, it does not make sense to spend your college years in the Library, waiting to submit your proposal.You want to look forward to a special day, or in this case, two or three special days, because you have completed it. And, once you get out of college, you will be able to obtain a hard copy of your proposal essay, so that you can use it anywhere you wish. Why pay for students to provide a copy of your project?Instead, you should complete your project on topics that pertain to your area of expertise, a nd which are based on topics that will bring in a higher grade, in a manner which will not attract any attention. This is why I strongly discourage students from tackling environmental topics, and why I have such a high regard for people who have a solid foundation in engineering.
